Mortgage Foreclosure-Liquidation Specialist

Job Summary
Responds to customer inquiries and assists in the servicing department by tracking Active Foreclosure loans, coordinating with law firms to complete foreclosure processes, monitoring past-due loans for loss mitigation, reviewing borrower financial packages and analyzing loss mitigation liquidation options per investor guidelines, processing pre-foreclosure sales and deed-in-lieu transactions, requesting and tracking expense reimbursements from investors for loss mitigation liquidations and foreclosure expenses non-recoverable from borrowers, and providing superior customer service to homeowners, bankers, and other vendors; performs clerical duties including filing or imaging documents; adheres to policies and guidelines and handles other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two to three years related loss mitigation and mortgage banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and all Microsoft Office applications.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions; follow established policies, procedures & guidelines; demonstrate analytical decision making and problem solving skills.
