Job Summary
Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector performs property inspections for existing mortgage loans, determines occupancy status (occupied or vacant), photographs and documents property condition, delivers door notices and verifies utility status, and completes reports using a mobile app (InspectorADE). The role requires working independently within an assigned territory, flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time), and travel to inspect occupied, vacant, and rural properties. Compensation is a flat rate per inspection with weekly pay; earnings depend on availability, territory, and workload. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with auto insurance, smartphone, internet, and be able to obtain Shield ID and HUD/Inspector Keys. 1099 independent contractor position with no mileage or expense reimbursement.
