Mortgage Consumer Direct Sales Consultant (SAFE)

Job Summary
Manage inbound and outbound calls to offer Wells Fargo mortgage products and services, interacting with customers to understand needs and inform them of Home Mortgage programs. Analyze loan applications, pricing, and rate locking while presenting recommendations for complex situations. Collaborate with fulfillment partners throughout the origination process and navigate multiple databases to accurately capture customer information. Maintain high client satisfaction through timely, proactive communication while adhering to SAFE registration and Loan Originator requirements. This role supports the Consumer Direct Team's goal of helping customers reach financial goals through homeownership.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Mortgage Consumer Direct Sales experience
- Experience in loan origination
- Strong understanding of mortgage sales, origination processes and industry regulations
- Experience working in goal-driven environments
- Experience in sales
- Strong communication skills both interpersonal and written
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills
- Willingness to work on-site at the location(s) listed on the job opening
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
- Site hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm CST
- Site hours of operation are Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST
- This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction
- This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
- Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results
- Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment
- A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness
