Job Summary
Originate purchase and refinance loans by responding to company-provided leads via phone from internet, direct mail campaigns, referrals, or other marketing campaigns. Engage with borrowers to determine needs and offer appropriate products. Manage a loan pipeline from application to closing, coordinating with underwriting and processing to ensure timely approvals. Gather information to close loans (credit reports, income verification, appraisals) and ensure compliance with TILA, RESPA, and Fair Lending standards. Provide superior customer service and meet monthly sales goals while staying informed about mortgage industry trends and maintaining company compliance. Requires strong communication skills, proficiency with loan origination systems (H2O) and CRM (Salesforce), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Origination experience in the mortgage or banking industry required
- 2+ years’ origination experience
- Active NMLS license
- Must maintain mortgage licenses by completing mandatory annual continuing education
- Experience utilizing persuasive communication skills, inside sales experience preferred
