Job Summary
The Mortgage Consultant is responsible for originating various types of loans focused on servicing existing customers. Key responsibilities include responding to leads from multiple sources to originate purchase and refinance loans, taking mortgage loan applications via phone, obtaining necessary information for timely loan closure, and meeting individual monthly sales goals. Required qualifications include an active NMLS license, at least 2 years of origination experience in the mortgage or banking industry, and a solid understanding of appraisals and product guidelines. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
