Job Summary
Coordinate mortgage loan closings with agents, originators, and processors for both wholesale and retail lenders. Prepare closing packages per instructions and send them to attorneys with funds, while reviewing and approving HUD-1 settlement statements and closing disclosures. Calculate APR, issue final TIL, and prepare funding worksheets to wire funds to closing agents or correspondent banks. Run tickets to clear funding and finalize loans post-closing after working with underwriters and post closing on outstanding conditions. Maintain strong public relations with customers, realtors, and attorneys while adhering to RESPA and TILA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years job related experience
- Ability to operate a personal computer using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of loan documentation and bank terminology
- Must have working knowledge of RESPA and TILA regulations
- Basic knowledge of Accounting
- Ability to read, understand, and adhere to internal and governmental policies and procedures
- Ability to learn and utilize all necessary computer applications
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
