Job Summary
Provide program information to consumers and partners via telephone, walk-ins, and email, including the Homeownership general email boxes. Process incoming and outgoing mail for the Homeownership Department. Prepare invoices, check requests and purchase orders. Original Notes processing and monthly inventory. Mail original Notes to Sub-Servicer. Assist in monitoring the loan pipeline, including eDoc notifications, reservation revisions and extensions, and daily e-Mortgage Docs Audit/Event log. Handle loan file processing, data entry, and quality control for loans approved for purchase; prepare and transit files to Sub-Servicer. Manage bi-monthly loan file transfers and post-purchase document handling. Final documents search and filing. Attend monthly staff meetings and distribute minutes. Conduct weekly rate surveys and distribute results. Represent MaineHousing at outreach events and trade shows. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in an administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with mortgage loan documents
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Excellent telephone skills
- Intermediate user of Microsoft 365 including Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal oversight
