Morning Shift Security Guard - FT

Provide security detail as outlined in post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while controlling entrances and the movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Duties include staying informed of post orders, reporting suspicious activity, monitoring cameras, knowing emergency policies and procedures, completing Daily Activity Reports and incident reports, and making recommendations to improve safety and loss prevention. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and related equipment to ensure safe operation of elevators and access doors, plus effective communication with Security Supervisor about any issues. The role emphasizes honesty, alertness, discipline, teamwork, urgency, and strong written and verbal communication in a security context.
