Morning Shift Security Guard - FT

Provide security detail as outlined in post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Patrol of buildings and perimeters; control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic; escort of material and personnel; inspect security and fire exposures; perform special assignments. Maintain professional image with customers, visitors and employees; greet people politely; stay informed of post orders; report suspicious activity; monitor cameras and emergency procedures; complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports; contribute to safety and loss-prevention improvements; understand life safety systems and equipment (fire panels, CCTV, elevators, access doors); ensure training/compliance as directed. Must be punctual, vigilant, customer-service oriented, able to work in a team, adapt to varying post assignments, and communicate effectively.
