Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders for the assigned location, including controlling entrances and traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain professional image and customer service, monitor cameras and emergency procedures, stay current with post orders, report daily activity and incidents, and collaborate with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments as needed. Maintain knowledge of life safety systems and ensure safe operation of equipment; follow training and compliance guidelines as outlined by AFS and client requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Security experience preferred
- Ability to patrol buildings and perimeters
- Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic
- Escort of material and personnel
- Monitor cameras or equipment
- Knowledge of life safety systems and fire panels
