Morning Shift Security Guard - FT

Morning Shift Security Guard provides security detail as described in post orders, including control of entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, building and perimeter patrols, escort of material and personnel, and inspections of security and fire exposures. Responsibilities include staying aware of surroundings, maintaining a professional image with customers and employees, staying current with post orders, reporting suspicious activity and incidents, monitoring cameras, understanding emergency policies, completing Daily Activity Reports and incident reports, and supporting loss prevention efforts. Must be able to communicate effectively, work as part of a team, and adapt to post assignments; familiarity with life safety systems, CCTV, fire panels, elevators, and access doors is beneficial. Duties may vary by department size and location, with opportunities for ADA accommodations as needed.
