Job Summary
Coordinate and optimize delivery schedules by communicating with mobile units to ensure they receive important messages. Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver loads while monitoring situations via phone or radio. Modify daily routes to accommodate customer needs and address sudden changes or road construction issues. Assist drivers with routing directions, enforce safety procedures, and update customer web portals with load information. Analyze transportation planning opportunities to reduce costs and ensure proper trailer pool placement. Maintain high compliance with dispatch standards and operating procedures. Requires English fluency, three years of logistics experience, and strong computer skills. Located in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
Required Qualifications
- English fluency
- +3 years of experience in logistics or transportation
- College diploma or degree
- +2 years of experience in customer service roles
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
