Job Summary
Act as the first line of defense across a cell of CNC machines, performing active quality assurance by inspecting parts for bad indicators and using visual cues to catch errors early. You will monitor a dozen+ automated CNC machines, diagnose tool and part conditions when machines halt or alarms occur, and determine when to escalate. Responsibilities include making small, precise adjustments (comps) to current programs, performing deburring and finishing, and logically prioritizing tasks to avoid downtime or damage. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on capability, and the ability to read basic inspection data and measurements. Shift details: 5am–2pm mornings; occasional weekend morning work may be required. Must be comfortable on your feet for long shifts and able to lift up to 45 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of CNC or machine operator experience preferred; strong transferable mechanical or technical background will be considered
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on, physical work
- Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and inspection data
