Job Summary
Keep swimmers safe, respond to emergencies, and ensure a positive pool environment by monitoring children and reporting safety hazards to your supervisor. Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests while following all policies related to the supervision of children. Complete required lifeguard and CPR training, and report any suspicious behavior or policy violations immediately. Work Monday through Friday from 5:45 am to 12 pm with a starting pay of $18.00/hour. This role supports the YMCA's mission-driven commitment to child abuse prevention and community safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Physical ability to perform water rescues
- Willingness to complete lifeguard and CPR training (provided by us)
