Job Summary
Morning Caregiver responsibilities include providing in-home senior care such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and transportation to appointments or activities; offering personal care and hygiene support; planning meals with client assistance; assisting with routine exercises; assisting with shopping; providing companionship and reporting any incidents; and responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies. The role includes opportunities for advanced training in areas like dementia care or Alzheimer’s care to develop skills further. Office/location focus centers on Webster Groves, MO, and surrounding areas (Wildwood, Ellisville, Ballwin, Manchester, and nearby communities) with a compassionate, community-minded team at Visiting Angels Webster Groves.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
