Job Summary
Support all store operations and departments in partnership with the Store Manager by directing work activities, managing customer and employee issues, and maintaining an appealing sales floor. Greet customers, answer questions, assist with purchases, and process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments. Direct training and counseling for new employees, assist with hiring, and help the team meet sales goals while identifying business opportunities. Maintain a presence on the sales floor to provide daily guidance and ensure delivery of services. Pay range $23.00 – $28.75/hour. Benefits include daily pay, employee discount, paid sick time, and 401k eligibility after 1000 hours. Requires 3+ years retail experience, 1+ year supervisory experience preferred, and ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a retail setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic reading, writing and accounting skills required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills needed
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year supervisory experience preferred or a graduate of the Best Seller Program
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
