Monthly Job Fair: Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapists needed for in-home and center-based weekly therapeutic services serving youth across New Jersey. Provide individual in-home therapy, group therapy, telehealth, and outpatient center sessions; conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment plans; teach coping, social, and anger management skills; reduce risk behaviors; support youth and caregivers; collaborate with the Child & Family Treatment Team; mentor newly hired therapists and interns; complete required documentation and participate in monthly clinical meetings; willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments. Must hold a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field and an active New Jersey license; minimum 5 years post-licensure experience with youth; eligible for reciprocity; strong skills in CBT/REBT/Gestalt/DBT and Trauma-Informed Care; DSM-V knowledge; valid NJ driver’s license; background checks and drug screen required; able to work after-school hours with occasional weekends; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT); candidates with out-of-state licenses may be considered if reciprocity applies
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience mentoring, supervising, or training junior therapists and interns
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Some training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training
- Experience with treatment planning, progress notes, initial assessments, and goal setting
- Proficiency in counseling approaches such as CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Experience providing positive behavior supports
- Prior experience working with children ages 3-20; experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.

- Availability during after-school hours (12 PM–8 PM); weekend flexibility is a plus
