Month Planning Engineer

Job Summary
Develop the three-month mine plan aligned with the 12-month budget to drive weekly planning horizons for loading, hauling, drilling, and blasting. Manage safe work environments by ensuring plans comply with the Mine Health and Safety Act and operational regulations. Construct terms of reference with stakeholders to validate productivity assumptions and adjust plans for geological deviations, plant needs, and ore flow requirements. Ensure infrastructure planning aligns with shorter-term targets while participating in reconciliation processes and implementing the Anglo Operating Model. This Band 6 role within Technical, Integrated Planning & Geology reports to the Section Manager Operational Planning.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Mining Engineering
- SA Drivers Licence Code B
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in mine planning
- Proficiency in Xecute, Surpac, and MicroStation software
- Familiarity with other mine planning software
- Experience in mine planning and related operations
- Understand relevant safety and mining legislation
Desired Qualifications
- B Tech Mining Engineering/or Mining Engineering Degree
