Job Summary
Conducts new hire driver training, including follow-up training, annual revalidation and driver audits. Helps with all departmental training needs and conducts audits for vehicle handling procedures. Ensures employees work in a safe, accident-free environment; identifies and reports safety hazards; completes training and audit forms; assists with preparing required training documents; ensures adherence to company policies and standards; assesses training needs for new and existing employees; performs audits related to PPE, anti-mutilation, dress code, and vehicle handling; supports safe work practices and vehicle readiness in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D
- Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions
- Ability to work in group setting
- Ability to speak to large groups of people (30+)
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to understand, facilitate, and train on safety and vehicle handling procedures
