Job Summary
Implement Montessori principles to maintain a thoughtfully prepared Primary classroom for ages 3–6. Develop and present individualized lessons using Montessori materials while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages independence and respectful collaboration. Observe, assess, and document student progress to support academic and developmental growth, providing constructive guidance to help children reach their full potential. Collaborate with assistants, fellow guides, and administration, and communicate professionally with parents to support each child's educational journey. Submit a resume and cover letter describing Montessori training, classroom experience, and educational philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of early childhood teaching experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Primary Certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in a Montessori Primary classroom or with young children strongly preferred
- Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated passion for working with children and commitment to Montessori philosophy
