Job Summary
Plan, guide, and evaluate student learning within the Catholic school's philosophy while preparing instructional materials and supporting defined activities. Monitor and assist small instructional groups, supervise students during lunch and recess, and perform clerical tasks such as maintaining records and creating bulletin boards. Model Gospel values, uphold school policies, and collaborate with teachers and parents to enhance the learning environment. Requires proficiency in technology, ability to handle multiple tasks, and familiarity with the Montessori methodology.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church
- Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
- Able to work well with others in the school community
- Skill in handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Skill in motivating and engaging students in the learning process
- Skill in organizing and relating information in an understandable format
- Skill in job appropriate technology
- Skill in critical thinking and planning
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Required to manage high to moderate levels of stress
- Required to work in standard classroom and school conditions
