Job Summary
Regional Psychiatrist responsible for overseeing psychiatric clinical programs in Nevada and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine treatment plans, provide medication management, maintain medical records, supervise PMHNP documentation, collaborate with mental health professionals, participate in treatment team meetings, and pursue ongoing education. Service areas include WA, ID, NV, UT, NM, CO, AZ, MT, WY, KS, TX, and OR. Job types include Full-time and Part-time.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a residency training program in psychiatry
- Two years of post-residency experience as a psychiatrist in a psychiatric facility
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Licensure as a physician in applicable state
- Licensed by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license may be required
- Knowledge of general medicine and psychiatry; current developments in the field of psychiatry; hospital and clinic organization, management, and procedures
