Job Summary
Monitor Technician role focusing on monitoring and interpreting patient heart rhythms and vital signs, interpreting alarms and following set algorithms; provide support services including basic computer tasks, chart handling, coordinating with other departments, stocking supplies, and potential reception duties. May have access to medications for distribution to licensed personnel. Requires strong organizational, prioritization, stress-management, and interpersonal/communication skills, with ability to collaborate across the care team. Weekend, part-time schedule (24 hours weekly) and potential sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED required
- Healthcare experience helpful
- Clerical/business services/communications equipment experience desirable but not required
