Job Summary

Monitor patient heart rhythms and vital signs while interpreting alarms and following set algorithm parameters to communicate with nursing staff. Perform daily tasks including assembling patient charts, stocking supplies, and answering phones as needed. Utilize organizational policies to prioritize work and handle stress efficiently during continuous observation of assigned patients.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Must be organized
  • Must have ability to prioritize work
  • Must have ability to handle stress
  • Must have ability to do detailed work efficiently
  • Must have good interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must be able to interpret alarms
  • Must be able to follow through with appropriate communication
  • Must know how to use organizational policies and procedures
  • Must be able to function under and handle stress
  • Must be able to do detailed work efficiently
  • Must have ability to prioritize work
