Job Summary
Conduct clerical and receptionist duties while assisting clinical personnel with nonclinical tasks in the 3W Progressive Care Unit. Act as a resource for patients and family members by addressing administrative needs respectfully and adhering to infection prevention policies. Recognize basic cardiac rhythms including acute MI, V TACH, V Fib, or heart block on EKGs and immediately notify the RN of alerts or critical results. Provide patient comfort and safety while communicating effectively with the medical team and following Joint Commission safety goals. Report matters requiring nursing intervention immediately and comply with organizational quality dashboard benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
- Basic arrhythmia and/or 12-lead ECG course or equivalent work experience
- BCLS or ACLS Certification
