Job Summary
Monitor Tech responsible for continuous cardiac monitor observation, communicating essential information to nurses and clinicians, and contributing to patient safety and outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring EKG waveforms, reporting rhythm changes and patient updates, maintaining monitoring equipment, and notifying bio-medical for repairs as needed. Prior EKG or telemetry experience is preferred but not required; EPIC EHR experience is optional. 36 weekly hours, Evening/Night shifts (7pm–7am) with 3 shifts per week including every other weekend. Full-time role with department support and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of EKG/arrhythmia exam by end of orientation
