Job Summary
Observes, interprets, and documents cardiac rhythms. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care. Serves as a resource to nursing staff in the use of monitor equipment. May be required to work beyond regular hours or in another patient care unit as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS Certification
- Basic arrhythmia course
- Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language
- Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition
- Ability to work effectively in fast paced, stressful environment
