Job Summary
Assist the driver in the safe operation of the route and manage students as defined/identified by school. Responsibilities include learning and following a route sheet or electronic routing device, managing student behavior and communicating issues with the driver, assisting in pre-trip/post-trip inspections and with wheelchair lift, helping students load/unload, coordinating with school personnel, parents and students, attending safety/training meetings, conducting emergency evacuation from the bus, cleaning the bus interior, and performing other specialized functions as required by contract. Requires good verbal communication, ability to work early mornings, professional demeanor, and adherence to safety policies; uses basic office equipment and digital tools as needed.
