Job Summary
The OTG Money Room Attendant at YYZ ensures cash vault integrity at opening/closing, handles crewmember distributions and deposits, prepares and verifies bank deposits, reconciles cash receipts, and provides teller services. Responsibilities include counting and sorting large sums of money quickly and accurately, maintaining an accounting spreadsheet, and documenting cash variances per OTG guidelines. Requires 1–2 years of cash handling, strong math and customer-service skills, honesty and integrity, ability to lift coins up to 15lbs, and the ability to work independently with indirect supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of cash handling experience
- Highest degree of honesty and integrity
- Banking and Finance experience, a plus
- Strong math and money-handling skills
- Ability to lift multiple boxes of coins that may weigh up to 15lbs each
- Must possess a high regard for customer service and Team Member relations
- Ability to maintain, verify, balancing allocated cash drawer, including proper trial balancing all through the day
- Ability to multitask under pressure and supervision
