Job Summary
Lead theatre operations during assigned shifts by supervising and coordinating staff to ensure smooth daily execution. Provide guidance and direction to frontline team members while assisting in training new hires and reinforcing company standards. Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and prioritize customer satisfaction through friendly support. Oversee efficient functioning of concessions, box office, and auditoriums, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to financial procedures. Maintain a clean work environment across all areas, perform cleaning duties as directed, and report safety hazards immediately. Open and close the theatre regularly, including weekends and holidays, while managing shift transitions and recordkeeping. Work independently or collaboratively to maintain high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older at the time of hire
- Availability to open and/or close the theatre on a regular basis, including weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment
- Reliable transportation
- Current vehicle insurance
- R-Serving certification (if aged 21 and older)
- Willingness and ability to pour basic drinks (if aged 21 and older)
- Food Handler and/or Food Manager certifications as required by specific location assignments
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, up to 4 hours at a time
- Frequent use of hands and arms to handle objects, tools, or equipment
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed to perform duties
- Ability to move, lift, stock, and transport items weighing 35–40 pounds safely
- Mental stamina to maintain composure, efficiency, and decision-making in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting, and temperature conditions
