Job Summary
Conduct 24-hour awake coverage and supervision of 20 efficiency-style apartment units for single individuals. Act as the first point of contact for client needs, performing rounds to monitor building grounds and ensure safe facility operation. Manage front desk check-ins, distribute household items and toiletries, perform residential cleaning including linens washing, and conduct unit inspections. Document all client interactions and significant events in the daily log while maintaining confidentiality and complying with agency policies. Collaborate with case managers to reinforce service plans and participate in staff training and meetings. Administer emergency procedures and serve as emergency personnel, reporting to work as scheduled regardless of circumstances.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in human services field i.e., mental health, substance abuse, homeless and domestic violence
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and team members
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed
- Annual TB Test
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to lift items weighing 10-20 pounds
- Proficiently utilize Google Suites applications (email, calendar, drive, docs, etc) as a part of day-to-day work requirements
- Proficiently utilize Microsoft products as a part of day-to-day work requirements
- Serve as emergency personnel and must report to work as scheduled regardless of circumstances (inclement weather, highway congestion, etc)
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's in human services/ related field
- 1 year of experience in customer service
- Experience working in programs serving homeless families
- Experience working in a residential environment
- Current CPR/ First aid certification
