Job Summary
Perform diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light commercial environments, ensuring work adheres to relevant codes. Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures for heating, water, or drainage systems. Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues during service calls while identifying potential problems to prevent breakdowns. Inspect high-pressure systems to ascertain malfunctions and repair or replace fixtures, testing joints and pipe systems. Interpret drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements and plan installations around obstructions. Measure, cut, thread, and install pipe assemblies using hand or power tools. Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, submit paperwork timely, and keep the service vehicle clean and stocked. Explain each service performed to clients to ensure satisfaction and provide pricing for approval before work begins.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- Valid driver's license
- At least 3 years of US driving experience
- GED or High School Diploma
- Must be able to work extended hours, nights or weekends
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
- Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
