Job Summary
Deliver psychotherapy and mental health services to students at a partner school site, including individual, group, family therapy, and parent coaching. Manage a caseload of 20 weekly encounters during the school year and 10 during the summer, while applying crisis management skills to stabilize clients. Coordinate with the school wellness team to promote socio-emotional and academic wellness, and actively participate in case reviews and organization-wide meetings. Document all contacts, referrals, and billing information in eCW within 48 hours of service, ensuring compliance with state and federal confidentiality regulations. Maintain accurate client records and provide monthly statistics as needed. This one-year full-time role offers intensive supervision, training, and mentorship to support skill development, with a requirement to obtain licensure in both the District of Columbia and Maryland within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field
- Entry-level license (LGSW, LMSW, or LGPC) to practice psychotherapy under the supervision of an independently licensed provider in the District of Columbia or Maryland
- Within 6 months of hire, candidates will need to be licensed in both the District of Columbia and Maryland
- Working knowledge of Windows and Word
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality issues and HIPAA compliance/regulation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to lift objects up to twenty-five (25) pounds
