MoMA PS1 Digital Marketing and Media Fellow

Job Summary
Produce video, audio, and photography for exhibitions, performances, and digital initiatives by recording live interviews, editing content, liaising with vendors, and photographing in-person events. Manage the full content lifecycle from asset gathering to captioning implementation across the website, social media, email, and archive. Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to support the institution's robust digital schedule while prioritizing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Work three to four days per week on site, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays to align with museum programs. This six-month fellowship offers hands-on training within a contemporary art institution to develop skills in audience engagement and program development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience successfully working in video editing, social media content production, videography, and/or photography
- High level of creative ability with excellent photography, videography, and media editing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing deadlines and priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, be proactive, and take initiative, balanced with skill in executing plans and tasks with precise and nuanced instructions
- Ability to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of management and support staff
- Maintain a highly professional and positive attitude in a dynamic and creative setting
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro / After Effects)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in Gmail
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in connection with museum programs and events
- Work three to four days per week on site
- Some weekend and evening hours as required
