Job Summary
Molecular Technologist I-III at Tempus responsible for performing complex molecular-based procedures in a cutting-edge clinical laboratory, including qPCR, next-generation sequencing, nucleic acid extraction, DNA/RNA quantification and genotyping, with quality control, calibration, maintenance and proficiency testing, plus data entry into the LIMS. Requires an advanced degree in medical technology/biological sciences or equivalent and strong teamwork and communication skills; shift is Tue-Sat (10:30am-7:00pm) and work is performed in a CLIA/CAP high-complexity laboratory in Atlanta, GA.
Required Qualifications
- MS in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, chemical, physical or biological science and at least 0-6 years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience with molecular biology
- BS in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, chemical, physical or biological science and at least 0-6 years of pertinent clinical lab experience in molecular biology
