Molecular Medical Technologist

Molecular Medical Technologist responsible for evaluating specimens, performing routine and complex laboratory procedures per SOPs, operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation, making technical testing decisions, preparing and evaluating reagents/controls, reporting accurate test results, and maintaining QC and safety standards. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related science discipline and 1+ year of clinical lab experience or an MLS; ASCP or AMT certification preferred. Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills; color-blindness screening required; overtime or shift flexibility may be needed. Located in Overland Park, KS in the Molecular Department; regular duties include maintenance, inventory replenishment, and adherence to safety and PPE protocols.
