Job Summary
As a Molecular Genetic Technologist, you will perform testing, troubleshoot assay performance, and maintain laboratory equipment. You will conduct quality control and take appropriate actions if systems deviate from established specifications. This role also entails adhering to the Code of Conduct in compliance with Baylor Genetics, as well as performing other assigned duties. Key competencies include analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, strong technical expertise, alongside effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or medical technology
- minimum of 2+ years relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- MB(ASCP) certification
- MT(ASCP) certification
