Job Summary
Develop and optimize nucleic acid assay conditions by working at the bench, then implement and test protocols using NGS platforms for DNA sequencing. Analyze experimental data to solve challenging chemistry, molecular biology, and engineering problems within a multi-disciplinary product development team. Candidates must possess solid wet-lab skills including PCR, qPCR, DNA extraction, purification, and ligation. Full-time positions offer a salary range of $64,480 to $144,900 based on qualifications, with benefits including PTO, 401k, and comprehensive medical coverage. Located near the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station, this role supports Sequlite Genomics' mission to enable sequencing for everyone.
Required Qualifications
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a closely related field
- Solid wet-lab skills
- Firm understanding of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, DNA extraction, purification, ligation, and sequencing
- Highly motivated individual with great work ethics
- Good communication skills
