Molecular Biologist I (Analyst I) in Indianapolis, IN, providing flexible support to the team while performing a variety of laboratory assays including cell culture, RNA/DNA/protein isolation, and tissue processing. Responsibilities include routine cell culture of multiple cell lines, co-culture maintenance, imaging with stains/probes, screening assays, and maintaining online documentation. Requires collaboration, strong organization and multitasking, clear written/oral communication, and adherence to quality and safety guidelines. Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field and familiarity with lab instrumentation are preferred. Compensation: $25.00-$27.00 per hour ($52,000-$56,160 annually).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field
- Experience with cell culture and molecular biology techniques
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Documentation of experiments according to Good Research Practice
- Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation (centrifuges, cell counters) and Microsoft Excel
