Job Summary
Oversee union production personnel in a ductile iron molding foundry to meet safety, quality, and production targets. Lead shift planning, staffing, and production scheduling; monitor performance, address quality/efficiency issues, and report to management. Ensure adequate staffing and training for key operations, conduct ISO-9001:2015 quality and safety reviews, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with Human Resources and leadership to navigate union contract requirements while maintaining productivity and workplace harmony.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
- Minimum 2+ years in industrial production in a high-volume environment
- Experience in ductile iron molding and union setting preferred
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
