Job Summary
Operate rubber molding presses to produce quality parts by preparing molds, loading and unloading materials, monitoring cycles, and inspecting finished goods. Perform press operations including loading/unloading stock, finishing, sorting, gauging, cutting, and packaging defective materials or questionable conditions to the Molding Supervisor. Read routing work instructions, input basic production and labor data, and maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, orderly condition. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures while collaborating with setup technicians and maintenance staff to ensure minimal downtime. Night shift hours apply.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with all presses, proper methods, tools and equipment needed to make a quality part in a safe manner
- Ability to understand basic data input methods and procedures
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
- Basic math and reading skills
