Job Summary
The role of Molding Operator in Training involves operating various molding presses and executing secondary tasks such as cleaning and packing parts, assembling products requiring post-molding assembly, and identifying materials for packaging. The operator must maintain a safe work area, show continuous improvement in press operation, and successfully complete a 3-month training program. Key responsibilities include reading production documentation, performing visual inspections, and accurately completing reports and labels. The position requires the ability to work independently and meet physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully complete 3 months of training
- Read and understand production cards, work orders, and first piece approval sheets
- Understand difference between (WP) and (FG) products
- Understand basic press operations
- Know and understand Quality Policy
- Understands and performs visual criteria inspections
- IQMS usage - clocks in/out properly for work/breaks
- Hand on completion of documents (Scrap/Production Report, product labels, and work in progress forms)
- Understanding of all areas outlined on the Skills Checklist.
Additional Requirements
- Employee must be able to work by him/her self with little supervision
- Must be able to stand while operating machinery
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
- Maintains a 95% attendance for each month
