Job Summary
Seeking a Mold Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on injection molds, requiring 3+ years of experience in injection molding, proficiency in hot runner systems, and strong mechanical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in injection molding
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in repairs of hot runner systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficient in the use of lathe, mill, CNC, cranes and rigging
- Basic machining skills
- Forklift certified
- Overhead crane experience
- Familiar with hot runner systems, especially valve gate systems
- Familiar with stack molds
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring required for proximity sensors and limit switches
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic functions
- Basic knowledge of mold building materials, surface finishes, tolerances, and design principles
- Ability to function well within a team setting
