Job Summary
Second-shift Mold Technician in Lee's Summit, MO responsible for maintaining and repairing blow molding tooling for consumer, medical, and industrial containers. Perform mold maintenance and repair using manual tools and shop machines, assemble, fit, and inspect mold components and subassemblies, use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers) to verify specs, read and interpret blueprints and part drawings, identify and implement improvements to repair processes, support shop productivity and equipment uptime, follow safety protocols and company procedures, share technical knowledge and collaborate with the team, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3+ years using hand tools in a technical or mechanical setting
- Experience operating shop machinery and basic machining operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and solid math skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Detail focused; quality and safety mindset
- Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environment
