Mold Technician

Job Summary
Mold Technician responsible for mold changes, repair, installation, alignment, and testing of molds to meet production requirements. Supports Maintenance efforts including Preventive Maintenance and Equipment Repair. Uses hand and power tools to perform duties, loads and positions tools into presses for changeovers, maintains molds, inspects for defects, and adheres to safety protocols including LOTO. Must operate a crane when needed, maintain documentation, and meet tight downtime targets (average mold change time ~60 minutes). Requires attention to detail, ability to work overtime as assigned, and safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Strong mechanical ability
- Proven and/or demonstrated communication skills
- Successful interaction in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to learn and retain
- Ability to solve problems and think on the go
- Good reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to safely operate a forktruck
