Job Summary
Mold Technician - Machine Operator in a plastics manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include setting up machinery for new production runs, operating machinery to produce finished products, troubleshooting machine issues or product defects, cleaning and polishing molds and core rods, and performing quality checks to ensure specifications are met. Requires mechanical aptitude, ability to troubleshoot and resolve process issues, and computer literacy. Lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds. 3rd shift available: Monday-Friday from 11:00pm-7:00am. Prior experience in blow mold or injection mold plastics is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience preferred in plastics (blow mold or injection mold) related field
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot and process issues that arise
- Computer literate
- Lift, push or pull up to 75 pounds
