Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance, repair, and service of mold tooling for facility molding equipment. Follow documented safety, quality, and maintenance procedures while responding promptly to safety hazards and machine breakdowns. Execute scheduled change overs on molding equipment and perform mechanical repair on mold tooling. Maintain an inventory of spares to support production demand and complete task-related documentation. Uphold excellent housekeeping standards and maintain effective communication with operators and plant supervision. This Level#2 role requires at least two years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and proficiency with hand and power tools. Candidates must demonstrate self-compliance with company policies and possess basic computer knowledge, with Maintenance Connection experience preferred. The position involves a 12-hour first shift (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) on a 5-2-2-5 schedule with an on-call requirement. Novolex, a leading manufacturer of food and beverage packaging, offers competitive pay ranging from $24.48 to $30.61 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience
- At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Must have mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to stand and/kneel frequently, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and work in a manufacturing environment
- Must be available on an on-call basis
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred
- Technical certification in a related field preferred
