Job Summary
Restoration Technician for mold remediation and water/fire damage cleanup in the Hudson Valley area. Responsibilities include driving the company vehicle, setting up and operating water mitigation and mold remediation equipment, removing damaged materials (drywall, carpeting, wood, etc.), physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, general cleaning, and completing documentation such as moisture mapping and humidity readings. Position requires after-hours emergency services, on-call rotations, and participation in team-based work with a focus on helping clients in their time of need. Training provided with opportunities for advancement; shifts run 8:00am–4:00pm; compensation $20–$25/hour depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Water Damage Restoration and Mold Mitigation
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate water mitigation and mold remediation equipment
- Punctual and reliable
- Willingness to learn and be trained
