Mold Prep

Maintain production molds by wiping down and dusting items returned from the line, buffing as necessary, and applying a proper base coat of wax before production. Strip old wax base coats from molds in use as scheduled, apply new coats, and buff to the proper finish. Inspect return molds for maintenance or repair needs, notifying supervisors when required. Cover prepped molds with plastic sheeting and tape, then place them in the line for return to production. Keep the work area safe, clean, and hazard-free while using appropriate personal protective equipment. Occasional moderate and heavy lifting required; full-time role with benefits including discounts, medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings.
