Mold Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Assemble and disassemble molds according to work instructions and blueprints, performing overhauls and parts fitting while conducting quality assurance checks on all fabricated tooling. Maintain a clean work area and equipment, prepare documentation such as tooling work orders and inspection reports, and ensure proper communication with other departments regarding mold activities. Adhere strictly to OSHA guidelines and safety rules, supervising associates to follow proper maintenance protocols. Requires a two-year machine tool technology degree or equivalent experience with injection mold maintenance, fine motor skills, and the ability to work at a fast pace.
Required Qualifications
- Two Year Machine Tool Technology degree
- 1-3 years on the job experience with injection mold maintenance
- fine motor skills for handling delicate components
- ability to perform frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying
- excellent oral & written communication skills
- willingness to learn
- ability to work at a fast pace
